Stung by a fallout

Am just reeling from the impact of the fallout that I had with my best buddy. It hurt me deep. I dont know if time will heal. Can he forgive me ? Can I forgive him ? I need time.

Maybe we need to spend moe time with each other. Hmm... blame it on this pathetic lifestyle and work-life imbalance.

Ease of filing US tax returns

I had been to US on a work permit. That was a couple of light years ago. It is time now to file for the US tax returns (both Federal and State returns). The off-the-shelf option would be to file the returns through one's own organization. But, IMHO, this is a laborious process. It will take eons to get your money back. This is attributed to the red tape that the organization has to cut through.
One of the other options is to file for the returns online. There are some good sites available which provide this easy-to-use service of filing for your US tax returns.

I recommend TaxActOnline . It scores a perfect ten for its simplicity. The service has a detailed tutorial on how it works. I was guided through the total process by means of interactive and informative wizards. The total process takes just under an hour. One can file online for both Federal and State tax returns. And the icing on the cake was that I got my returns in the span of 10 days.

TurboTax is also another site worth checking out.

Waterloo

Most bachelors who are IT professionals tend to stay in groups. Many stay with colleagues, but some also stay with mates from college. En effet, our house (I stay with my mates from college) was dubbed 'Kozhi's Men's Hostel). Dont prod me on d'etymology de la Kozhi.
Every morning, there is a Waterloo at our KMH - The battle for Water and Loo. Most of us leave for office at the higly unearthly hour of 7 a.m. All get up at the same time (6.30 am) and then the battle begins. Acute water shortage, dysfunctional motor, lazy roomates (that includes me) - all of them are primal causes for this battle in which Survival of the Fittest is the mantra. On days when the fittest win, the losers (who cannot be choosers !!) have a dry wash (No bath, Deo-spray will work just as fine).
The thought of summer and the heightened demand for water is sure to send shivers down the LOSERS' spines (those unimaginably lazy guys @ home)
