Innovative action by Airtel mobile

I was having my lunch in our office cafeteria when I noticed that a corner in the cafeteria was drawing attention. I joined the group of curious 'peers' to have a look at what was taking ppl's mind off junk that is passed off as 'food' in our cafeteria.
Airtel had put up a free mobile charging station. The charging station had a charger for every popoular handset... Nokia, Sony-Ericcsson, Samsung, Siemens, Philips et al. I thought that this was a creative way to capture people's attention. All of us have had problems with our mobile's battery level at office some time or the other. This charging station will turn out to be tres useful.

My first Flight journey from Bangalore, India to Newark, US was a wonderful one.It gave me a lot of childish pleasure to see the sea of sugar-puffed candy below me. I had never seen anything this great.

Autograph

I have safely preserved all from diaries starting from 1996. I have this habit of keeping stuff like greeting cards, letters (yes guys.. Snail mail was rocking that time!!!), photos et al in my diary against the corresponding significant dates.

Was searching for my office security badge today when I came across my Diaries. I opened one casually. This was my diary during my 2nd year in college. I saw a beautiful greeting card in the diary. Curious and clueless about this card, I opened it to find that this was a card that I was supposed to give my CRUSH in college. The card was a very creative one..

I had written down my feeling for her. I never consider myself good at poetry... but a few snippets from what I had written really got me in splits.

I had written this romantic line :

I came
We saw
You conquered.

I had signed off with

(Wanting to be) Yours,
My Signature

I could not help but laugh at myself.

I also saw the photos of others babes on my crush list. I wonder how I would feel about all this 2 years down the line.

Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

I just finished Dan Brown's 'The Da Vinci Code'. One helluva book. Very intriguing and informative. The way the research information was mixed with the storyline was very good. I have decided to read his 'Angels and Demons' too. The only disappointment was that my friend Xavier blurted out the villain's (BTW, I came to know about the etymology behind the word villain) name even before I had finished the book. I will get even with him !!!
