The world is truly becoming a global village as Indian and all things Indian continue to rule. my first time here..
Interesting news.. I dont think this would ever happen.. Americans are so proud of themselves, they wont learn any language unless a region of US is dominated by that language-speaking people (like Spanish in South)
Jayan, I am also looking for CIT bloggers da. Yet to get any info.... blogging bug is yet to bite a lot of people in CIT da!
will keep you posted if i found any!
cool blog uve got...cheers
That's codswallop. They think we will communicate in Hindi with a war on them? I have been asked repeatedly if knowing Hindi is helpful in business communication with Indians. I have asserted that we speak English primarily and that seems unbelievable to some of them. The level of stereotyping that the Orient undergoes is ghastly sometimes...
Anyway, its good for the community colleges trying to teach Hindi. And hey, no harm to our national lingo.
PS: The blog is strictly for books. Thanks for visiting.
@Death : Well, I couldn't agree more with you :)
@Raju : Welcome. I agree. For most Yankees, the World ends at Mexico. But, having said that, I have seen many an American being open to anything Indian !
@Satheesh : Ok da. Jojo must have already started blogging ! Dont u think so ?
@Ashok : Thank you. Keep visiting !
@Srihari : I once had an apartment-supervisor in US ask me if I was a 'Patel' from North West India. She remarked that she had learnt 'sabji', 'dal' et al from The Patels !!
