Autorickshaw menace -
I hear through a contact that the Controller Office of Auto Unit, Bangalore has stated that no auto driver is allowed to ask 1.5 times (charges) before 10:00 PM , neither will he be given extra money on account of rain.

@Fathima - Chennai autos are better off without the meter (it should be called centimeter, since they tick for every centimeter) :)
@Monu : Share autos are a dangerous means of transport. Mugging is a common phenomenon in share autos in Bangalore.
